Arrêt du Conseil d’État du Roi, qui proroge [...] la permission […] d’introduire aux Isles du Vent, dans dans les ports d’entrepôt, les noirs de traite étrangere, avec une diminution de droits à l’entrée: qui permet pendant le même temps, l’exportation du sucre brut de l’Isle Sainte-Lucie à l’etranger, […] sur les noirs de traite Françoise, qui seront introduits dans les ports des Cayes-Saint-Louis à Saint-Domingue […]. First edition of a Royal French decree extending the permission dated June 1783 until August 1789 for foreigners to sell enslaved Black individuals in the French Antilles and the reduction of entry duties. Additionally, it permits the exportation of raw sugar from the Isle of Saint Lucia abroad, subject to the payment of taxes. Furthermore, the decision increases the premium for French merchants to two hundred lives per imported enslaved individual, specifically at the port of Cayes-Saint-Louis in Saint-Domingue, facilitating the supply of the southern region of the Isle.

Condition: minor stain in top corner, otherwise in very good condition.
